FPC Women’s Volleyball Live to See Another Day in the NJCAA Regional Tournament

Rothwell, NM: The Lady Plainsmen Women's Volleyball team has lived to see another day after the first day of the NJCAA Region 5 Championship Tournament. After losing to #5 Weatherford College in three sets the first game the Lady Plainsmen would take on Temple College in a win or go home game.

The Lady Plainsmen won the first two sets, but Temple (seeded third in the tournament) ralllied back to win the third set. In dramatic fashion, the Lady Plainsmen were able to win the fourth set 25-23 to advance to Day 2 of the tournament. The Lady Plainsmen will play the loser of the Odessa College and Weatherford College matchup at 3 PM Friday (November 8th).
