Ewing Amasses 300 Wins

Coach Ewing hits a career milestone 300 wins this past season!

With a 168-26 Trinity Valley Record after 6 seasons in Athens, TX and a 120-60 record in his six seasons as head coach in Illinois, Coach Ewing was able to surpass the 300 win mark with just his 12th win in Borger. This win was also significant as it was the first conference win on the year. The win came in non dramatic fashion with a 84 - 68 rout of Western Texas. This was thanks in large part to the historic start that the Lady Plainsmen had to begin the year.  

"I just want to say thank you to everyone that has been a part of this amazing journey! It has been a true blessing to recruit, coach & share such great memories with so many people & especially the student athletes that have been successful not just on the court but in life as well!" Ewing said. This next season is setting up to add to that win total with the recruiting class he is putting together. His overall wins number sits at 304. We hope he continues to build that number higher in Borger!
