Lady Plainsmen Set to Participate in Bruce Fleck Classic

[BORGER – December 29, 2021] Lady Plainsmen jet off to Arizona to participate in the Bruce Fleck Classic at Pima Community College.

The Lady Plainsmen, fresh off their Christmas break, are back on the road for a trip to Tucson, Arizona, where they will participate in the Bruce Fleck Classic. They will enter the Classic with a 9-5 record and have the opportunity to face off against three tough opponents from Arizona. The Lady Plainsmen will look for some good fortune in Arizona as they have visited the state earlier this season along with a 4-1 record on a neutral court. 

Day 1 of the classic will have the Lady Plainsmen battle the host team of Pima Community College, a powerhouse team that comes in at Number 6 in the Division 2 NJCAA rankings. Day 2 will give the Lady Plainsmen a chance to avenge an early loss, the only neutral court loss they have, as they take on Cochise College. The final day will put the Lady Plainsmen against Arizona Western, who come into the classic with an 11-1 record with their lone loss coming to the host team Pima.
