FPC Rodeo Freshman Brooke Bruner Takes over #1 spot in the Women’s Breakaway-roping for the Southwest Region!!

Frank Phillips College co-supported the Clarendon College Rodeo October 10-12 in Clarendon, TX. The event sported 733 total contestants and had 917 entries.The FPC Rodeo Womens Team had an excellent showing, with several Freshman earning top spots!FPC Rodeo Freshman Breakaway-roper Brooke Bruner from Parker, CO roped her calf in 2.1 earning her #2 out of 265 entries during the Long Round! Bruners combined success at Eastern New Mexico State University & Clarendon College has now moved her to the #1 Breakaway Position in the Southwest Region overall standings! "Brookes maturity, dedication to her craft, overall work-ethic, and professionalism has earned her a spot among the elite! It's an honor & a privilege to have Brooke wearing the Plainsmen vest!" Coach Kaylee GreggFPC Rodeo Freshman All-Around hand Hannah Fullmer from Logandale, NV clocked a 15.83 in the Barrel-racing earning her 8th place out of 184 contestant entries! Hannah also turned in a time of 2.6 in the ladies event of Breakaway-roping placing 11th out of 265 contestant entries!!FPC Rodeo Goat-tyers also had a stellar showing!FPC Freshman Alyssa Clark of Wray, CO clocked a 6.8 seconds for a 12th fastest time of the Long Round!FPC Freshman Brooke Bruner of Parker, CO clocked a 7.0 second run!FPC Freshman Hannah Fullmer of Logandale, NV clocked a 7.2!Shoutout to FPC Alumni Graduates -Jacee Graff (WC) winning the Goat-tying!Keni Labrum (TSU) 4th Goat-tying!The FPC Rodeo Womens Team finished 5th out of the 17 competing colleges and Universities during the Clarendon College Rodeo. FPC Rodeo will travel to Liberty, TX October 17-20 for the National Collegiate Shootout!
