Jenkins Records 100th Win in Plainsmen Victory at Western Texas

Borger, TX: The Frank Phillips College Men's Basketball team secured a 61-50 win in over Western Texas on Monday (March 3). The Plainsmen, led by just one point at halftime, used a second half jolt of energy on the defensive end to secure the victory. With this win, the Plainsmen have secured a spot in the Region V tournament next week at McLennan Community College in Waco, Texas.

This victory also was Head Coach Hunter Jenkins 100th career win. Jenkins, who came to Frank Phillips in May 2024, has led his team to a historic season thus far as the Plainsmen are now 22-7 and 10-5 in the WJCAC. The Plainsmen have improved their win total greatly from a season ago and are currently ranked #15 in the lastest Top 25 poll. The Plainsmen will play their final game of the regula season on Thursday (March 6) against Howard College at the BCAC.
