Plainsmen Protect Home Court, End Ranger’s 4 Game Win Streak
Borger, TX: The Frank Phillips College Men's Basketball had the Borger Community Activity Center rocking on Saturday (Nov. 16) in a 78-72 over the visiting Ranger College.
The Plainsmen came out hot in the second half with three consecutive three-pointers made by Alem Fejzic. A transition dunk by Mady Traore had the crowd energized as the Plainsmen went in at halftime up 11.
Ranger would not go away as they came out aggressive in the second half, even taking a one point lead with two minutes to go. An offensive putback by Yesan Warren and another three from Fejzic however secured the Plainsmen a victory to move to 6-1 on the season.
