Oriach Earns All-American Nod

For the 2nd time in 3 years FPC Baseball has an All-American!

The NJCAA All-American list has been released and our very own Jordy Oriach has been selected to that list! The sophomore RF put up some very impressive numbers this season to be able to earn this accolade. He had a .432 batting average while knocking in 18 home runs. He was 4th in the country with a .903 slugging percentage. He also hit 23 doubles which is good for top 10 in the country as well as driving in 77 RBIs. 

Coach Chad Brown had this to say “I am extremely proud of this young man and all he has accomplished. He definitely deserves this with all of his hard work. He is the type of kid you want to build a program around. UNM got a great one.” 

The UNM signee is playing down in Florida Collegiate Summer League for the Leeward Lightning wearing he is still lighting up the field as he is 4th in the league .522 batting average!
