FPC Rodeo Womens Team Finishes #2 at the First College Rodeo of the Season!
FPC Rodeo had their season opener at Eastern New Mexico State University located in Portales, NM September 19-21. Once again the Southwest Region has seen a substantial increase in competitors, setting once again an all time-record for contestant entries! However, the FPC Rodeo ladies did not disappoint & brought home The ENMU Reserve Womens Championship Title. Competing against the 17 different colleges & universities within the Southwest Region.
FPC Rodeo Freshman Brooke Bruner from Parker, CO finished 2nd at her first college rodeo in the ladies event of Breakaway-roping! Brooke turned in a time of 2.3 in the Long Round to tie for #1, a 3.1 in the Short Round for 3rd in the Round, and a combined time of 5.4 to win 2nd in the aggregate!!
FPC Rodeo Freshman Breakaway-roper Hannah Fullmer from Logandale, NV turned in a time of 2.4 in the Long Round to place 3rd behind her teammate. During the championship round she then turned in a time of 1.8 but unfortunately caught the barrier, resulting in a +10. Her combined time of 14.2 placed her 5th in the Round & 5th in the Average out of the 265 contestant Breakaway entries!!
FPC Alumni also had an excellent showing! FPC 2024 graduate, Jacelyn Frost currently at Tarleton State, won the ENMU College Rodeo Breakaway-Championship! FPC 2024 Graduate, Jacee Graff currently at Weatherford College won Reserve Champion ENMU College Rodeo Goat-Tyer! FPC 2021 Graduate Keni Labrum currently at Tarleton State, placed 3rd in the Women's Goat-tying!

FPC will travel to Sul Ross State University September 26-28 for their second competition of the Fall season!
